The Santiago Stock Exchange is a publicly-traded corporation whose operation is controlled by the Superintendency of Securities and Insurance of the Republic of Chile. Its main role is to provide security buyers and sellers a physical meeting place so they can undertake their transactions with the services provided by stock brokers and other applicable security brokerage activities pursuant to law.
